Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure platforms for a major banking client. The role is responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure environments across servers, databases, middleware, networking, and cloud platforms.

Multiple sites:
Cleveland, OH;
Pittsburgh, PA;
Dallas, TX. 5 days onsite.

• Manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments across Linux/Unix and Windows servers, virtualized and cloud platforms, and middleware/application hosting.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability; troubleshoot incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure components and implement automation and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with application, database, network, security, and Dev Ops teams to ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and high‑availability strategies and participate in on‑call support rotations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred).
• 5+ years experience administering Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
• 5+ years experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong proficiency in Sysdig, shell scripting (Bash, Power Shell, Python), and server provisioning/configuration management.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls) and enterprise storage/backup solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and support for enterprise applications and middleware platforms.
• Experience with database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Postgre
  
  SQL).
  Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Experience in high‑availability, mission‑critical environments and RCA.

• Experience in banking or financial services industry.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
