Job DescriptionPerforms a variety of maintenance tasks in electronic, mechanical and electromechanical areas. Assists in the design, construction, and the test and check‑out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. May work with complex machines or computer systems. Performs calibration and alignment checks;
makes adjustments, modifications and replacements as directed.
- Proficiency in reading equipment electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test tools and hand tools. Familiarity with refrigeration theory, system diagnosis and troubleshooting. Interface with engineers and customers when necessary. Provide training to other maintenance and lab technicians as needed.

- Ability to obtain a security clearance if necessary
- Minimum of 15 years experience in the electrical/refrigeration trade.
- Familiarity with cascade refrigeration systems a plus.
- Thermal chamber control troubleshooting and configuration.
- Computer (Microsoft Windows) use.
- Familiarity with dynamic shaker troubleshooting and repair a plus.
Salary range for this role in New Jersey is $67,000.00 – $. L3
