Skills Needed: Job Duties/Responsibilities:  General practitioners and family physicians diagnose and treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients.  Family Physicians and General Practitioners provide comprehensive longitudinal primary health care and medical services to a population local to the community being served including regular in and out of office care, inpatient care and out of office hours’ care.  

Qualifications/Education:  Completion of a three or four year Medical Doctor (MD) degree program at an accredited university, followed by family medicine or specialty post-graduate training. Subsequently, completion of the qualifying examinations of the Medical Council of Canada and must be eligible for License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC) provisional/full license or Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP).  Internationally Educated Medical Graduates (IMG’s) of Accredited Medical Schools who have completed their residency program within Canada, USA, Caribbean, UK, Ireland or Australia may be eligible for a Provisional License w a residency may not be required.

Skills Needed: Applicants must hold American Board Certification, Canadian or Australian Fellowship, European qualifications or equivalent credentials, and have a minimum of 5 years post-certification work experience in an accredited acute-care institution.

- Board Certified in Surgery with Subspecialty Certificate in Pediatric Surgery- or equivalent;
- Fellowship training/Specialist training in Pediatric Surgery;
- At least 3 years of clinical experience (Post-Board Certification) as a Pediatric Surgery Specialist;

- Western educated, trained and experienced Physician specialized in own Medical Specialty;
- Board Certified –in Medical Niche branch/Medical Specialty or equivalent;
- Fellowship training/Specialist training in Medical niche branch/ Medical Specialty;
- At least 2-3 years of clinical experience ( Post-Board Certification) as a Medical Specialist;

- Western educated, trained and experienced Neuroradiologist;
- Board Certified in Radiology with Subspecialty Certificate in Neuroradiology- or equivalent;
- Fellowship training/Specialist training in Neuroradiology;
- At least 3 years of clinical experience (Post-Board Certification) as a Neuroradiology Specialist;

- Western educated, trained and experienced Oncologist;
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine with Subspecialty Certificate in Medical Oncology- or equivalent;
- Fellowship training/Specialist training in Medical Oncology;
- At least 3 years of clinical experience (Post-Board Certification) as an Oncology Specialist;

Skills Needed: Essential requirements:

- Western educated, trained and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon;
- Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery - or equivalent;
- Fellowship training/Specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery;
- At least 5 years of clinical experience (Post-Board Certification) as an Orthopaedic Surgery Specialist;

Skills Needed: Essential requirements:

- Western educated, trained and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist;
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine- equivalent educational qualification;
- Fellowship training/Specialist training in Emergency Medicine;
- At least 3 years of clinical experience (Post-Board Certification) as an Emergency Medicine Specialist;

-At least 3-5 years of experience as a Radiologist after Board Certification;
