Correctional RNs for the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC)

?? Openings across Colorado – flexibility required

??? March/April defense training start dates

?? Pay:

• Travel RN: $49/hr + $413 meals + $770 housing stipend (weekly)
• Local RN: $56/hr (no stipend)

As a Correctional RN, you’ll provide both routine and emergency medical care within a secure correctional environment, collaborating with onsite medical staff and correctional teams to support patient well‑being.

• Active RN license
• 1+ year corrections experience OR state psych hospital experience required
• BLS
• Willing to work ANY shift
• Must complete CDOC background & integrity interview
• Comfortable with a long onboarding process (3–4 weeks)
• Willing to attend Defense Training in Colorado Springs
