Responsibilities- Inspect in-house and vendor purchased products, raw materials, and services, as well as packaging and labeling materials used for medical devices.
- Assist in the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality and striving for efficiency and excellence, adhering to all safety requirements.
- Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics using inspection sheets and sampling plans.
- Compare obtained results with target values, document deviations, and enter inspection results into MES systems.
- Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and operating procedures to determine acceptance or rejection of product.
- Perform visual inspections using magnifying tools, sampling methods, first article checks, and/or AOI machines.
- Perform lot release and archive batch documentation, prepare required documentation, and ensure compliance.
- Assist in training co-workers and perform roving auditor inspections in manufacturing areas.
- Follow all safety, health, and security policies.
- Perform Device History Review inspections and final product release, support filing, imaging, and verification processes for records.
- Review batch documentation for GDP compliance and act as the final checkpoint before shipment.
- Communicate issues, prioritize tasks, and participate in compliance programs.
- High School diploma or equivalent required with 1–2 years relevant experience.
- Experience reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments.
Hourly pay range: $17.98 – $32.36. Job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity.
