GPI has an immediate opportunity for a Highway Engineering Project Manager based in our Columbia, Maryland office to support the continued growth and expansion of GPI’s transportation design presence throughout the region.

Responsibilities- Manage and deliver transportation projects for clients including Maryland State Highway Administration, Delaware Department of Transportation, and local counties and municipalities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through collaboration with clients and internal multi‑discipline teams
- Prepare and oversee engineering designs that meet project requirements and client expectations
- Deliver projects within established schedules and budgets
- Develop project design criteria, calculations, details, and cost estimates
- Mentor and support staff in the advancement of transportation engineering and design
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering, preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland
- Extensive experience in roadway design
- Working knowledge of CAD and roadway modeling software
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
