FORVIA is looking for a year‑round Production Control and Logistics Intern for its Location in Columbus, Indiana
.
Roles and Responsibilities
The main roles and responsibilities of the PC&L Intern will include supporting the implementation of Production Control & Logistics standard tools and best practices within a plant. The intern’s scope covers the entire plant supply chain, including internal and external flows, as well as physical and information flow.
Key Responsibilities- Support the proper implementation on time of all standards and best practices related to supply chain management, acting as a project leader under the PC&L manager’s guidance for serial life and upcoming programs.
- Update or help implement plant standards such as digitalization and automation.
- Create and distribute documentation and instructions throughout the plant.
- Lead or co–lead PC&L improvements and projects within the PC&L network.
- Champion productivity and cost‑saving initiatives within the PC&L scope.
- Interest in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Business Development, or related fields.
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program.
- Prior internship or co‑op experience.
- Minimum 2.8 GPA.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
