Quality Intern

We are seeking a year‑round Quality Intern for our Columbus, Indiana location.

The Quality Intern will work with a Quality Engineer to manage the quality of exhaust components being manufactured. This includes developing quality control processes, instructing factory workers on these processes, examining components and comparing against documentation, updating documentation, and presenting solutions to management. On‑the‑job training will be provided to ensure a successful experience.

The main missions of the role are:

• Ensure quality control processes are robust and performed correctly
• Investigate complaints from customers
• Present to management on how to detect future quality issues
• Create instructions for factory workers to check for quality issues
• Interface with factory workers to understand and troubleshoot manufacturing processes
• Instruct factory workers on new quality procedures

Minimum education level: Pursuing a Technical or Business Degree

Skills and competencies:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills a plus
• Willingness to take ownership of problems and drive to resolution
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Forvia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
• Minimum GPA of 2.8
• Can work year‑round
