Overview
Company wide Quality Control Manager to lead field‑driven quality systems across active projects. This role focuses on preventing defects early, strengthening field execution, and improving construction quality through hands‑on oversight, coaching, and standardized best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular field quality walks across multiple projects and document findings with corrective action plans
- Establish and enforce benchmark installations, first‑work approvals, inspection hold points, and quality checkpoints
- Partner with Superintendents and PMs to resolve field issues and improve trade performance
- Support mockups, testing, inspections, finish reviews, and milestone readiness assessments
- Identify recurring quality issues and drive standardization to prevent repeat problems across jobs
- Track quality trends and help improve company wide field execution standards
- Strong construction background in field supervision, QA/QC, closeout, or warranty roles
- Proven ability to influence field teams and leadership without being overly administrative
- Experience across core scopes such as concrete, framing, waterproofing, MEP, drywall, and finishes
- Strong field observation, documentation, and root‑cause problem‑solving skills
- Ability to drive accountability and improve trade performance
- Florida experience preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
This is a prevention‑first leadership role focused on improving quality in real time across jobsites—reducing rework, improving consistency, and strengthening execution before projects reach closeout pressure.
