Position Summary

The Maintenance Training Administrator will provide communication within their Field Support area to upcoming training classes, monitor enrollments to ensure classes are populated according to session requirements, ensure completion of pre-requisites and pre-class preparation, and use training performance reports to monitor learning plan completion and communicate when associates are due or past due on completing training requirements.

Major Responsibilities
  • Monitor pre-requisite completions and pre-class preparation, including equipment availability, system login, and training materials.
  • Enter enrollments into the Learning Management System and map related Learning Plans.
  • Audit classes for enrollment fulfillment.
  • Serve as single point of contact for metrics reporting, associate questions and management needs.
  • On day of sessions, monitor attendance and address no shows or other setup issues such as lack of supplies or login problems for virtual classes.
  • Observe classes, solve problems promptly, and handle additional projects/tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in administrative or coordinating activities.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Customer Service or other communication roles.
  • Strong decision‑making skills balancing internal team needs and customer needs.
  • Basic introductory skills in MS Access, LMS software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Use of Access and Excel to provide accurate performance review data.
  • Agility to meet business needs while maintaining focus on team performance.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to quickly address training class requests and scheduling within the Penske Learning and Management Center.
  • Travel required – 10% of the time.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
  • Willingness to travel, work required schedules, and comply with Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Read, communicate verbally or in writing, remember and analyze information, and understand instructions or guidelines.
  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach; occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs (12 kg).
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
