Position Overview
The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill an associated faculty position at the rank of Lecturer (SEM). The role involves teaching lectures and recitations in graduate and undergraduate classes as assigned; leading lab or discussion groups; proctoring exams; attending all lectures related to assigned courses; holding office hours;
tutoring students; attending weekly meetings; preparing and grading classroom work; participating in ongoing professional development, curriculum development and research.

- Lead lab or discussion groups in a course setting; proctor exams
- Attend all lectures related to assigned courses
- Hold office hours
- Tutor students
- Attend weekly meetings
- Prepare and grade classroom work
- Participate in ongoing professional development, may participate in curriculum development and conduct research
- Required
: A master’s degree in mathematics or related field at the time of application. - Required
:
Teaching experience in a higher education setting in large enrollment calculus courses. - Desired
: A Ph.D. in mathematics or related field.
