Machine Operator- $22-24/hr
We are a leading manufacturer of wire mesh used in various product lines such as fencing, decking, and other industries. We are seeking dedicated machine operators for our wire mesh line. As a machine operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment that fabricates metal, including stamping machines and other machinery used to produce metal products.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment that fabricates metal products, including stamping machines.
- Ensure efficient production by managing machine operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure machinery runs smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines as needed.
- Set up machines according to specifications.
- Read blueprints and use hand and power tools effectively.
- Mechanical inclination is essential.
- Experience in machine operation is a strong plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with CNC, press brake, and production line operations.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and preventative maintenance.
- Proficiency with tape measures and blueprint reading.
The pay range for this position is $41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year. We offer competitive benefits, great pay, a 401(k) plan with company matches (100% up to first 3% and up to 4% if you contribute 5% or more). Great work culture, laid back environment, opportunity for growth.
Job Type & LocationPermanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a manufacturing environment that is non-climate controlled. You will work on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Work attire should be suitable for a manufacturing setting, focusing on safety and comfort.
