Job Overview
Position:
Mold Operator Associate.
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm).
Key Responsibilities- Produce parts according to procedures and standards by operating presses, inspecting, trimming, coding, and packaging.
- Process parts for assembly by operating sonic welder, bonding with adhesives, and coding and packaging.
- Follow established job instructions to produce product per specification.
- Gauge quality of parts, detect and report defective material, and record scrap.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas by executing and enhancing defined 6S duties.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Developed visual and mechanical skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and work with small parts.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Reliable, with a positive attitude and flexible approach.
Work performed in a shop environment during an 8‑hour shift. Standing, stepping onto a 10‑inch platform, bending and reaching forward to dislodge parts from mold are required throughout the shift. Lifting up to 30 pounds and maneuvering boxes weighing up to 100 pounds from a skid to a dolly required 10% of shift. Pushing and pulling of a dolly with enough force to move up to 100 pounds occurs 5% of shift.
Ability to work with hand tools, pneumatic cutting tool, and small parts is necessary throughout the shift. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Safety glasses required at all times. Exposed to oil, shavings, noise, and seasonal heat.
