At Leaderpromos our Merchandiser will develop creative product collections and merchandise selections to be featured in online client webstores. The successful candidates will be a key player in researching and presenting engaging promotional merchandise products that meet the expectations of our customers and helps achieve Leaderpromos’ growth goals.

Core Responsibilities
  • Research and understand client needs, use of their webstores, and end-users for best product choices to be offered on the webstores.
  • Create merchandise product decks or sample presentations directly to the client, whether virtual or in person.
  • Client Brand Guidelines: study and learn guidelines of clients to strictly follow their brand standards when providing product offerings.
  • Develop and maintain the look and feel of client webstores to meet the “Leader Standard.”
  • Identify carryover, discontinued, and new styles to meet target SKU count goals based on client budgets, sales history, and merchandise needs.
  • Using appropriate SKU count by client, carefully curate product collections to meet their needs and increase sales on webstores.
  • Understands inventory management and ability to provide suggestions for webstore inventory quantities.
  • Provide client product pricing based on costs, decoration, and fees to meet appropriate margins for each client account.
  • Focus on areas Leader can increase margins and reduce unnecessary costs.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and communication regarding product pricing, features, and availability.
  • Learn and establish how we can better use preferred vendor resources and products in webstores.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Leader’s current internal systems for optimum process and customer experience.
  • Assist Director of Strategic Merchandise with other assigned duties, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or buying.
  • Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
