Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

* Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

* Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.

* Gather pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy in estimates.

* Collect and maintain historical data and cost databases to support estimating practices.

* Assist in compiling estimates into comprehensive bid packages for presentation to clients.

* Work with project managers and engineers to address any discrepancies or changes in project scope during the estimating phase.

* Maintain accurate records of estimates and project correspondence for future reference.

* Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance estimating skills, particularly in concrete construction methods and industry trends

* Promote Suntec's core principles to cultivate a collaborative, accountable work culture and encourage an ESOP mindset.

* 2+ years of experience in construction estimating or related roles

* Basic understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and specifications.

* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially when working under tight deadlines.

* A proactive attitude toward professional development and learning new estimating techniques or software tools.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic estimating software
