Join our 28‑bed Neurosciences Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a recognized Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center dedicated to delivering exceptional care for stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, Guillain‑Barré syndrome, and other complex neurological conditions. The unit features six Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) continuous‑EEG rooms and three intermediate‑care beds, supported by a collaborative, team‑centered culture that empowers nurses to lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457‑bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. As a Level III Trauma Center, we provide comprehensive emergency services and a wide range of specialty medical care with recognition for stroke, epilepsy, spine, bariatrics, and chest pain care.
Responsibilities- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program.
- Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
- Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required.
- BSN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within one year of hire/transfer date and must complete the program within three years of enrollment.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
- Appropriate professional certification (clinical or leadership) required within one year of eligibility for the professional certification exam.
- Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
- Base compensation within $44.15–$66.25 per hour, adjusted for qualifications, skills, experience, and training.
- Premium pay for shift, on‑call, and other specialty work.
