Elementary Classroom Teacher-- Long-term Substitute Teaching Position, Grade 5 English Language Arts
Hours and Pay Rate Based as per Contract
Westbrook Public Schools is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, experienced, and compassionate long-term substitute teacher to join our elementary team as a Grade 5 English Language Arts teacher.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
* Teaching English Language Arts to fifth-grade students.
* Providing differentiated instruction for students in elementary grades.
* Working with grade-level teams in a collaborative, MTSS model.
* Ensuring safety of students at all times.
* Attending and documenting conferences/meetings/trainings with supervisors, teachers, principals and parents as required by local, state and/or federal agencies
* Maintaining inventory of educational materials and supplies.
* Other duties as assigned
Experience in an elementary setting is required.
Required Connecticut Certification:
Elementary 1-6 (305)
