Custodial Technician

Rodeo Cannabis Co. is recruiting a Custodial Technician for our Sterling, CT facility. This is a part‑time role (32 hours per week) available on multiple shifts. Pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour based on experience.

Cleanliness is critical to compliance, safety and product quality in a regulated cannabis facility. As a Custodial Technician, you will be a key part of the team that keeps our operations running smoothly, while you enjoy competitive pay, flexible scheduling and an entry point into the cannabis industry.

• Facility cleaning – maintain production floors, offices, break rooms and common areas.
• Sanitization – disinfect high‑touch surfaces, equipment exteriors and shared work areas.
• Restroom care – clean, stock and maintain restrooms to hygienic standards.
• Floors & surfaces – sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, windows and glass surfaces.
• Waste & recycling – collect, dispose and route per facility protocols.
• Compliance & SOPs – follow all sanitation SOPs and Connecticut cannabis facility cleanliness standards.

• Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas, offices, break rooms, hallways and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and care for all flooring surfaces.
• Clean, disinfect and restock restrooms on a regular shift basis.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches and shared equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and other interior surfaces.
• Collect, sort and dispose of trash and recyclables according to protocols.
• Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report low stock or equipment issues promptly.
• Follow cleaning SOPs and state cannabis facility cleanliness and compliance standards.
• Identify and report any facility maintenance needs, safety hazards or spills immediately.
• Support the broader team by maintaining a safe, organized and welcoming work environment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a full shift.
• Capable of repetitive bending, reaching, kneeling and other physical tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety data sheet guidelines.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a regulated facility.
• Dependable, punctual and a team‑oriented work ethic.
• Must be 18 years of age or older, in compliance with Connecticut cannabis regulations.

• Prior custodial, janitorial or facility maintenance experience.
• Experience cleaning in a commercial, industrial, healthcare or regulated manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (auto‑scrubbers, buffers, etc.).
• Knowledge of OSHA, SDS or general workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage cleaning schedules efficiently.
