Senior Software Engineer

• Design and build robust, scalable backend systems and APIs for audience and journey creation on the employer's data platform
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, product, and engineering teams to define solutions that ensure usability and performance
• Communicate technical decisions clearly, articulating trade‑offs and customer impact
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Troubleshoot and enhance system reliability, debugging issues and refining operational processes

• 5-10 years of experience writing production‑grade code in a modern programming language
• Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or similar
• Proven experience operating large‑scale, distributed systems on cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS, ECS)
• Familiarity with large‑scale asynchronous processing systems and CI/CD development paradigms

• Experience shipping services (products) following a CI/CD development paradigm
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles for building scalable systems
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively
• Initiative in problem‑solving and willingness to ask questions to overcome challenges
