The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Metabolic Research (CBMR) is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic research support consultant to handle and coordinate our complex portfolio of legal agreements.

About us

Our vision is to strengthen interdisciplinary research that transforms our basic understanding of the mechanisms that underlie metabolic health and disease, and to accelerate this knowledge toward new prevention and treatment strategies. The Center has around 200 employees who work in an international research environment.

The Center was established in 2010 and in 2017 we moved into new state-of-the-art laboratories, offices and meeting rooms in the Maersk Tower in the University of Copenhagen’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

Profile

We expect you to have the following background and competencies:

  • Experience with legal collaboration agreements in relation to collaborative research projects either as a legal advisor or as a biomedical researcher
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English
  • Proactive and pragmatic problem-solving abilities to deal with multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Discretion in handling confidential materials and issues, and the ability to navigate in a political setting
  • Good organizational skills and an eye for detail
  • Works well independently and also within a team
  • Proficiency with MS office and IT in general
  • Your job

    Responsibilities include:

  • The primary task is coordination of our complex portfolio of legal agreements, including collaboration and data processing agreements (GDPR). You will provide support to our researchers in collaboration with the Tech Transfer Office, University of Copenhagen
  • Secretary for the Local Collaboration Committee and the Occupational Health and Safety Committee. This task includes preparing agendas and writing minutes of committee meetings four times a year
  • Occasionally, participate in coordination of large scientific events and ad hoc assignments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Place of employment

    The place of employment is at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research, Maersk Tower, Panum, University of Copenhagen. You will be part of a dynamic administrative team of 14 people and report to Head of Administration Helle Hald.

    Terms of employment

    The employment as research coordinator is a full time and permanent position. Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experiences and qualifications. Starting date is as soon as possible.
