Position: Coquitlam Indigenous Youth Worker Opportunities
Support Indigenous youth development in Coquitlam as an Indigenous Youth Worker. Positions are available for both permanent and casual employment in a vibrant school district.

The Coquitlam School District seeks Indigenous Youth Workers dedicated to enriching the educational experiences of Indigenous students. You will implement programs focused on First Nations studies while collaborating with educators. By leveraging your cultural heritage and experience, you can make a significant impact in the lives of youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver First Nations studies programs to students

• Collaborate with educators to support youth initiatives

• Facilitate engaging group programs and workshops

• Cultivate culturally sensitive approaches to education

• Connect with local Indigenous communities for program support

Requirements:

• Two-year post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License

• Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions

• Experience working with Indigenous youth and their communities

• Self-identification of Indigenous ancestry
