Become the Faculty Coordinator for the Applied Criminology BA Degree at Douglas College starting September 1, 2026. This role emphasizes student recruitment and academic advising.
As a part of the Faculty of Criminology and Legal Studies, you will engage in a 3/8 time release position. Responsibilities include guiding students in course selections, managing degree inquiries, and facilitating partnerships with community organizations.
Your role will also involve supporting Honours students and reviewing program content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in student recruitment initiatives
• Advise students on course selections and graduations
• Host information sessions for prospective students
• Collaborate with Marketing for promotional efforts
• Analyze data for program improvement recommendations
Requirements:
• Familiarity with Criminology degree requirements
• Experience in academic advising or coordination
• Strong communication skills for liaising with faculty
• Data analysis proficiency for student tracking
• Dedication to promoting an inclusive academic environment
