$71,846 – $115,129 annually. Placement on the faculty salary scale is based on education, professional certification and experience and will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Term:
September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027 (one‑year term, possible extension up to three years).
Time‑release availability: 7 sections for the 2026‑2027 academic year: 4 for Fall 2026/Winter 2027; 3 for Fall 2026/Winter 2027.
Responsibilities
Monitor the progress of students in the program and address student issues such as assisting faculty with student concerns.
Organize and participate in the student selection/acceptance process, follow up with late applicants, assist with registration and provide academic advice when necessary.
Organize and support program events.
Facilitate the practicum placement process.
Provide a regular schedule of on‑campus or online meeting times for academic advice and inquiries for students.
Gather, review, and sign the annual PD/Vacation forms from faculty members.
Convene meetings of faculty, distribute minutes, and monitor task completion.
Engage faculty colleagues, encouraging their participation in the running of the program and related activities.
Respond to information inquiries about the program, attend and facilitate information sessions.
Collaborate with the FACS Front Desk to organize the Program Advisory Committee and recruit committee members.
Attend meetings related to the Faculty including FEC and Coordinators.
Collaborate with Faculty Administration in attending to College policies, procedures, and processes.
Establish good working relationships with staff, faculty, and students, ensuring effective communication.
Work alongside the Coordinator responsible for workload and course scheduling, ensuring fairness and equitable distribution of teaching; complete required College paperwork.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in a related human service field.
Willingness to work in the spirit of transparency and disclosure.
Orientation toward detail to support the day‑to‑day operations of the program.
Ability to respond to shifting priorities as needed.
Responsiveness to student issues, concerns, and inquiries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution, and constructive feedback.
