This role combines strategic leadership, client consulting, and hands‑on oversight of technical solutions — from marketing tech stacks and data pipelines to analytics integrations and ad tech.

You’ll serve as a trusted partner to senior clients and an internal champion of technical innovation, ensuring the agency and our clients are equipped to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Leadership:
Define the agency’s technology roadmap, guiding adoption of martech, ad tech, and analytics platforms that enable smarter marketing.
  • Client Consulting:
Advise senior client stakeholders (CMOs, CTOs, Heads of Marketing) on technical strategy, platform selection, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Systems & Integrations:
Oversee implementation and integration of key platforms — CRM, CDP, DAM, CMS, analytics, ad servers, DSPs — ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Data Strategy:
Partner with analytics leads to design data architecture, tagging frameworks, and measurement systems that fuel insights and ROI.
  • Innovation:
Identify and test emerging technologies (AI tools, automation platforms, creative tech, new ad formats) and advise on adoption.
  • Governance & Privacy:
Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and oversee security and governance best practices.
  • Collaboration:

Work closely with creative, media, and analytics teams to embed technology into campaign planning and execution.
  • Leadership:
Mentor technical specialists, manage vendor/partner relationships, and scale the agency’s technology function as the business grows.
  • New Business:
Contribute to pitches and proposals, defining technical solutions and delivery frameworks that differentiate the agency.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, advertising technology, or technical program leadership (agency or consultancy experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead technical strategy and advise senior client stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of martech and ad tech ecosystems (e.g., Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce, Hub Spot, Adobe Experience Cloud, CDPs, DSPs).
  • Experience with analytics and tagging frameworks (GA4, GTM, Tealium) and data integrations (APIs, cloud platforms, data lakes).
  • Strong understanding of CRM, personalization platforms, and customer data strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven tools, workflow automation, and creative technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and governance best practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to simplify technical topics for executives and non‑technical audiences.
