Job Description

3rd shift Powder coating Opportunity Availability positions involve applying a dry powder finish to various products, primarily metal, requiring attention to detail, technical skills, and safety protocols.

• Application of Powder Coating:
  Prepare surfaces and apply powder coatings using specialized equipment such as spray guns and hoppers; ensure even application and adherence to quality standards.
• Surface preparation:
  Clean and prepare parts before coating to ensure a smooth finish.
• Curing/Dry process:
  Move parts into curing ovens to solidify the powder coating, controlling temperature and timing for optimal results.
• Quality control:
  Monitor the coating process and inspect finished products for defects to meet manufacturing standards.
• Maintenance and safety:
  Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and follow safety protocols to minimize hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

• High School Diploma.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, painting, spray coating, hand tools, powder coating.
• Attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
• Ability to read and understand basic verbal instructions.

Must wear long‑sleeved or short‑sleeved clothing without rips, tears, or holes, steel‑toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields, respiratory mask, hood, ear plugs, and safety gloves.
