Are you committed to making a significant impact in the lives of students with developmental disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Special Education Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year to join our team at an elementary school in Carrollton, KY.
Position Details- Grade Levels: Kindergarten & 1st Grade
- Caseload: 13-15 Students
- Location: Carrollton, KY
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide customized instructional strategies to support students academic and developmental growth.
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, parents, and educational specialists to foster a holistic learning environment.
- Continuously monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Valid Learning and Behavior Disorders (LBD) Certification.
- Demonstrated experience working with students who have developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
