Agape Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature leader to serve as our next
Spiritual Life Director
. This individual will play a vital role in shaping the hearts and minds of our students through intentional discipleship, engaging chapel services, and biblically rich teaching. We are looking for someone who is Christ-centered, relationally driven, and deeply aligned with our mission to equip students to be a transforming influence in the world.
- Develop and lead a biblically sound chapel program for both campuses.
- Coordinate and speak at chapel services, while inviting local pastors and student speakers.
- Launch and manage a cross-campus small group discipleship framework.
- Mentor and train upperclassmen to lead peer discipleship groups.
- Provide one‑on‑one spiritual encouragement and biblical counsel to students.
- Teach upper‑level Bible courses (grades 10–12), ensuring alignment with the school’s Statement of Faith.
- Collaborate on curriculum selection and contribute to theological clarity across courses.
- Lead annual mission trips (e.g., El Salvador for seniors, Cleveland for juniors) and coordinate service opportunities for all grade levels.
- Design and execute 1–2 Spiritual Emphasis Days per year, along with spiritual components of key school events.
- Engage with parents as the primary disciple rs, offering encouragement, biblical guidance, and occasional workshops.
- Build and maintain relationships with local pastors and churches to support student spiritual development.
- Work closely with the Head of School and campus Principals to integrate spiritual care with school life.
- Attend leadership meetings and coordinate proactively to ensure clarity around discipleship vs. discipline roles.
- Guide student‑led music teams in leading chapel worship with excellence and theological integrity.
- A vibrant, mature relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects biblical values.
- Deep alignment with Agape’s Statement of Faith and mission.
- Experience in youth ministry, discipleship, Christian education, or pastoral care.
- Strong communication skills, especially in teaching and biblical counseling.
- Bachelor’s degree required; theological or ministry‑related education preferred.
- A shepherd’s heart with a flexible, servant‑leader mindset.
