Cybersecurity Project Coordinator / Junior Technical Project Analyst Position Overview
This role supports the Cybersecurity department in coordinating projects, organizing compliance-related activities, and assisting with department reporting and presentations. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer, this individual will help ensure cybersecurity initiatives stay on track by managing timelines, organizing documentation, coordinating meetings, and preparing polished executive presentations.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Administrative Support- Assist in organizing and tracking cybersecurity projects, action items, and key deliverables across the team.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, meeting notes, and status trackers to ensure visibility into ongoing initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings with internal teams, document follow-up items, and help ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitor outstanding tasks and communicate updates, blockers, and next steps to stakeholders.
- Support the coordination of SOC 2, SOX, and other cybersecurity compliance-related activities.
- Gather, organize, and maintain audit documentation and supporting evidence from various internal teams.
- Track requests, deliverables, and deadlines to help ensure timely completion of compliance initiatives.
- Assist with documentation management and process organization for cybersecurity programs.
- Create clear, professional, and visually polished PowerPoint presentations for leadership meetings, project reviews, and executive updates.
- Compile project status information, metrics, and team updates into easy-to-understand reporting materials.
- Assist in building dashboards, trackers, and visual progress reports to communicate project health and remediation efforts.
- Help organize materials for leadership presentations and departmental reviews.
- Work closely with cybersecurity leadership, engineers, and business stakeholders to support communication and follow-up across multiple initiatives.
- Help maintain organization across concurrent projects by ensuring documentation, timelines, and responsibilities are clearly captured.
- Provide day-to-day coordination support for additional cybersecurity initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; internships, administrative coordination, or project support experience is a plus.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create professional presentations and summarize information clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, timelines, and follow-up tasks.
- Interest in cybersecurity, technology, or IT operations preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel trackers, and collaboration tools such as Jira or similar systems is a plus.
