JOB GOAL
To assist the Director of Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor with maintaining the physical school plant in a condition of operating efficiently and effectively.
REPORTS TO / EVALUATED BYDirector of Maintenance and Facilities / Building Principal
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing work along with general maintenance and repairs.
- Perform HVAC repairs and maintenance as requested.
- Assist with seasonal jobs such as mowing grass and snow removal.
- Assist the Director of Maintenance & Facilities in the continual examination of district-owned facilities for corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining the general appearance of district facilities to reflect a well-maintained system.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance & Facilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent training and experience.
- Documented knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Good human relations and courteous communication skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Neat appearance.
- Successful completion of a BCII and FBI check.
- 8 hours daily excluding lunch break
- 260 day contract
- Start date – July 20, 2026
- Salary as per negotiated agreement (LACE)
