Responsible for the fabrication of aluminum & steel parts by using a mechanical or hydraulic brake press.

• Responsible for part accuracy (dimensions) when complete.
• Responsible for completing daily work as assigned by supervisor as well as weekly schedule.
• Detect and report faulty equipment and/or materials to team leader and supervisor.
• Use safety equipment as instructed. Follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain work area, equipment and tools in clean orderly condition.
• Perform other duties and cross‑train as required or assigned.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Excellent math skills (converting decimals to fraction and vice versa).
• Excellent blue‑print reading skills.
• Able to read a tape measure, precision square, and protractor with accuracy.
• Very detail‑oriented.
• Organized.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Fast‑paced learner.

• Physical fitness to perform all functions of designated work areas. This includes small tool use, full arm and leg range of motion, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, work in awkward positions, talking and hearing.
• Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
