Yard Hostler- Commerce​/Henderson

Acme Distribution, a family‑owned leader in supply chain, warehouse, transportation, and fulfillment logistics since 1947, is seeking a Yard Hostler for our Henderson, Colorado location. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in supporting our warehouse and transportation operations by safely moving trailers and freight within our yard and between local facilities. • Safely move trailers and freight within the yard and between local facilities as directed
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch office to coordinate movements and resolve issues
• Complete required shipping and warehouse documentation, including freight bills, BOLs, manifests, and driver logs
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
• Lift and move items up to 50 lbs as needed
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Denver metro area for efficient routing

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Understanding of state and federal DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
• Familiarity with warehouse and shipping documentation
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 5:30am–2:30pm, with some Saturdays as required
• Strong communication skills and attention to safety

This role is somewhat sedentary but may require periods of physical activity.

• Occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, squat, crouch, and reach overhead when needed
• Repetitive movements involving both hands and feet
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment
• Vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

$25.00–$27.50 per hour
, depending on experience.
