Position: Special Ed Teacher | Cranston, Rhode Island

This position offers a dynamic mix of push-in and pull-out academic support, as well as delivering specialized MLL services to help students meet their full potential.

Your day will run from 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM, providing dedicated support during core instructional hours. You'll work closely with general education teachers and support staff, bringing expertise, empathy, and effective interventions to foster academic growth for students with diverse learning needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• ESL (English as a Second Language) certification
• Experience providing push-in and pull-out academic and MLL (Multilingual Learner) services at the middle school level
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and student-centered learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted academic interventions for students with IEPs within general education and resource classroom settings
• Support multilingual learners through tailored instructional strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement IEP goals
• Collect and maintain student progress data to inform instruction and report on outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
