Field Service Engineer - Vascular

Job Summary

The Field Engineer2 will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on diagnostic imaging equipment for one or more modalities within a hospital or healthcare system in the Birmingham, AL area. The role requires onsite work at customer locations and occasional work from a home office.

• Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution and follow‑up to drive customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and hospital protocols, and ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
• Document all work performed, including ordering of parts.

• Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military education and a minimum of 3 years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR
• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing imaging equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to be available after‑hours and/or on a rotating on‑call schedule, including weekends.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted; frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit and stand for long periods.
• Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level; flex or extend neck; good hand and finger dexterity.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
