What You'll Be Doing

Most of your time will be spent working independently on residential projects.

Typical work includes:

* Bathroom remodeling

* Drywall repair and finishing

* Trim carpentry (baseboards, casing, etc.)

* Light framing and carpentry repairs

* Fascia board replacement

* Interior painting related to carpentry work

* General residential repair and improvement projects

Carpenters regularly perform drywall work on our jobs, so drywall experience is important.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

* Working at residential job sites

* Completing carpentry and remodeling work

* Reviewing the scope of work for each project

* Determining materials needed for the job

* Picking up materials from local suppliers

* Traveling to job sites within our service area

Most work takes place within Culpeper and Spotsylvania.

Requirements

* Minimum 10 years carpentry or remodeling experience

* Experience with drywall repair and finishing

* Ability to work independently

* Must own your own carpentry tools

* Reliable transportation

* Ability to read and follow a scope of work

* Ability to determine materials needed for projects

* Must be able to pass a background check

* Team-oriented attitude

Applicants without at least ten years of carpentry experience will not be considered.
