Job Title: LPN – Correctional Center
Location: Cumberland, MD
Rate: Up to $1755.00 weekly + benefits from day 1
Shift: 8-hour day/eve shift
Contract: 13 weeks
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Active license within the state of employment.
Must maintain current BLS certification.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a correctional setting using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
- Work collaboratively with charge nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support patient education and care planning within scope of practice.
- Maintain safety and security standards within the correctional facility environment.
