A reputable franchised automotive dealership in Guildford seeks a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.

Duties
  • Conduct accurate diagnostics and triage to identify vehicle faults efficiently
  • Determine whether repairs can be carried out independently or need to be delegated
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs complying with manufacturer standards
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and work efficiently to meet repair times
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle diagnostics technology through manufacturer-led training
  • Ensure high-quality repair and servicing standards across all tasks
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Proven diagnostic skills, with experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, demonstrating attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
