Join Hill & Wilkinson as a Construction Superintendent and play a pivotal role in delivering some of the highest-profile commercial construction projects across the Dallas Fort Worth area ranging from $50M to $100M+. We’re looking for a seasoned field leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and knows how to keep large, complex projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
What You’ll Do:- Site Leadership: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Schedule Management: Maintain and track construction schedules, coordinate sequencing of trades to meet milestones
- Subcontractor Coordination: Direct and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure quality and productivity
- Quality Control: Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and quality standards through regular inspections
- Safety Enforcement: Uphold company and OSHA safety standards, lead safety meetings and site inspections
- Communication: Serve as the main on-site liaison between project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
- Documentation: Maintain daily reports, update drawings, track progress, and support RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Material & Equipment Oversight: Manage deliveries, verify materials, and coordinate equipment usage on-site
- Inspections & Closeout: Coordinate inspections, complete punch lists, and assist in project turnover and closeout
- Proven experience leading multiple large-scale commercial construction projects ($50M+) in a superintendent or senior superintendent field leadership role
- Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, and safety compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and timelines in a dynamic environment
- A track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to spec
