A growing surveying and engineering firm is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to support a variety of survey projects in Dallas. This role will focus on project oversight, survey review, coordination with field and office staff, and delivering high-quality survey products for clients across multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and comfortable managing projects from initial scope through final deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee survey projects from start to finish
  • Review and certify survey deliverables
  • Coordinate with field crews, CAD technicians, and project managers
  • Support boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys
  • Review plats, easements, title commitments, and legal descriptions
  • Perform QA/QC on survey data and final drawings
  • Maintain project schedules and client communication
  • Ensure compliance with Texas surveying regulations and company standards
  • Assist with mentoring junior survey staff as needed
Qualifications
  • Active Texas RPLS license required
  • 3+ years of experience as an RPLS or Project Surveyor
  • Strong understanding of Texas land surveying practices and regulations
  • Experience with Civil 3D and survey-related software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating with both field and office teams
Preferred Experience
  • Land development survey experience
  • Commercial and residential project experience
  • Construction staking and as-built survey experience
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
