A growing surveying and engineering firm is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to support a variety of survey projects in Dallas. This role will focus on project oversight, survey review, coordination with field and office staff, and delivering high-quality survey products for clients across multiple sectors.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and comfortable managing projects from initial scope through final deliverables.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee survey projects from start to finish
- Review and certify survey deliverables
- Coordinate with field crews, CAD technicians, and project managers
- Support boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys
- Review plats, easements, title commitments, and legal descriptions
- Perform QA/QC on survey data and final drawings
- Maintain project schedules and client communication
- Ensure compliance with Texas surveying regulations and company standards
- Assist with mentoring junior survey staff as needed
- Active Texas RPLS license required
- 3+ years of experience as an RPLS or Project Surveyor
- Strong understanding of Texas land surveying practices and regulations
- Experience with Civil 3D and survey-related software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience coordinating with both field and office teams
- Land development survey experience
- Commercial and residential project experience
- Construction staking and as-built survey experience
- Leadership or mentoring experience
