Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the manufacturing and R & D fields. Given our focus on high-tech equipment manufacturing, identify candidates with relevant technical and engineering backgrounds.
  • Source, screen, interview, and select candidates for various positions, including R & D engineers, sales and marketing professionals, and operational staff. Ensure a high-quality talent pool for the new company.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local universities, especially those with strong programs in engineering, manufacturing, and business. Also, establish connections with industry associations and recruitment agencies in Texas to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Team Building
  • Oversee the onboarding process of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into our corporate culture, which emphasizes innovation, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with department managers in the new Texas office to understand their staffing needs. Develop and implement plans to meet those requirements in a timely manner.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and employee engagement. Organize team-building activities and initiatives to enhance the sense of community within the new team.
  • Design and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures suitable for the Texas office. This includes performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and training and development. Ensure that all policies comply with local labor laws and regulations in Texas, USA.
  • Develop and maintain HR information systems to effectively manage employee data and HR processes. Select and implement appropriate software solutions that can support the growth and operations of the new company.
  • Employee Development
  • Identify training and development needs of employees in the Texas office. Design and deliver relevant programs to enhance their skills and knowledge, aligning with the company's business goals and technological requirements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and career development within the company. Provide employees with opportunities for internal promotion and skill-upgrading.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people-management issues. Help managers build high-performing teams and resolve any employee-related challenges.
  • Administration Management
  • Responsible for daily administrative operations including management of fixed assets, company documents, corporate safety, travel management, and handling reception tasks.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR management, with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. Experience in setting up HR systems for new companies is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition in the Texas local market. Familiarity with the local talent pool, especially in the manufacturing, high-tech, and R & D sectors, and an understanding of local recruitment channels, such as local job boards, industry-specific events, and university career centers.
Skills and Competencies
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in Texas, USA. Stay updated on any changes in employment laws and ensure company compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, from technical engineers to senior management.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as managing recruitment campaigns, implementing new HR policies, and organizing employee training programs.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to use data analytics tools to support HR decision-making is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage, considering the diverse workforce in Texas.
