Role Description
We are an established Tech firm in the DFW area looking for a Level 2 - NOC Engineer to join our team.
If you have a working knowledge of complex systems and networks, then you are the candidate that we want.
Leadership skills and excellent communications are a must have for this position.
We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Technician to join our team in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.
This position will work level 2 server and networking helpdesk issues and be an escalation point for our Tier 1 helpdesk team.

Qualifications & Requirements:
* An operational working knowledge of virtualization including VMWare, Hyper
V, Proxmox and network storage systems.
* Provide advanced technical support for desktops, servers, and network infrastructure at client sites and remotely.
* Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
* Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and access permissions.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as data backups, patch management, and system updates.
* An operational working knowledge of networking architecture and technologies including TCP/IP, VLANS, routing, switches, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and VoIP. (Cisco, Fortinet, Sonic
WALL)
* Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD structure, default objects, roles, GPO's and policies) and Windows Server Technologies (Windows Server, Hyper
V, RDS, SQL, IIS …).
* Working knowledge of security policies and controls.
* Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, O365, AWS, Google, GSuite …)
* Experience integrating and working within a high-volume helpdesk environment supporting various legacy and state-of-the-art technologies.
* Diverse Operating System knowledge is a plus (Windows, Mac, Linux …)
Education:
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
3+ Years systems architecture, administration, installation, and troubleshooting.
Preferred
Certifications:
* Security +, Network+ or equivalent network vendor certification (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sonic
WALL, …)
* Microsoft platforms certifications
* VMWare platform certifications
* Other relevant certifications.
