PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Quality Inspector in Dallas, TX
. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for aircraft safety, and the expertise to ensure every component meets the highest standards, this is your opportunity to play a critical role in keeping world‑class aircraft mission-ready and compliant.
In this position, you’ll help uphold the integrity, safety, and performance of aircraft maintenance operations by conducting inspections, reviewing technical records, and ensuring every release‑to‑service meets strict regulatory and customer requirements.
What You’ll DoAdhering to all general work requirements in coordination with Quality leadership
Conducting aircraft weighing procedures in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
Receiving arriving aircraft documentation, completing records, and documenting receipt
Coordinating inspection activities using maintenance tracking systems such as CAMPS and AVTRAC
Performing inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision measuring tools and test equipment
Inspecting new, repaired, and rebuilt parts/components for physical damage, quantity accuracy, and conformity
Ensuring maintenance work packages, forms, and records are accurately completed and compliant
Verifying specialized customer and regulatory documentation is complete and approvals are obtained
Researching aircraft drawings and technical data including engineering orders and change notices
Conducting walk‑around inspections for aircraft release from maintenance
Managing return‑to‑service processes and confirming all airworthiness requirements are met
Providing requested quality and maintenance data to customers
Supporting team development through training, coaching, and mentoring employees
Required Qualifications
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent hands‑on experience
Minimum 5 years of corporate and/or commercial jet experience
Ownership of a basic hand tool set with the ability to maintain tool inventory and control
Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools, and test equipment effectively
Ability to interpret domestic and international regulatory documents and requirements
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, CAA standards, ADs, SBs, TCDS, RSM/QCM, and related compliance standards
Knowledge of return‑to‑service procedures and airworthiness standards
Previous quality inspection experience in aviation maintenance environments
Strong technical documentation and recordkeeping skills
Experience using CAMPS, AVTRAC, or similar maintenance systems
Leadership ability with experience mentoring or training team members
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills

- Pay Range: $38.00 to $47.00 per hour
