Job Summary
Senior Associate – Software Engineering
At PwC, software and product innovation focus on developing cutting‑edge solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. In this role, you will design, code, test and deploy sophisticated applications, build client relationships, and mentor junior developers. You will anticipate needs of teams and clients, deliver quality, navigate ambiguity, and align work with broader business strategy.
Responsibilities- Design and implement advanced software solutions incorporating AI and automation.
- Own and manage specific components and services within projects.
- Mentor junior developers and foster their technical growth.
- Collaborate with tax experts to develop innovative use cases.
- Navigate the complexities associated with software engineering tasks.
- Participate in architectural decision‑making processes.
- Work within an agile framework to deliver exceptional solutions.
- Enhance technical knowledge through continuous learning and application.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Proven experience building applications using Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Skills in relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience deploying applications to cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
- Involvement in data and AI workloads using Python or R.
- Understanding of security and compliance for data and AI.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and foster innovation.
- Travel requirement: up to 20%.
- Salary range: $77,000 – $214,000 (dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location).
