RN - Youth Development Center

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Registered Nurse – Youth Development Center . This will be full time. Pay Rate: $ an hour paid weekly Shifts available:
Rotating Schedule (7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 1:00 PM–9:30 PM), with scheduled weekend and holiday rotations Benefits : available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to youth residents within a secure correctional environment Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and document physical and behavioral health changes Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols Respond to medical emergencies, providing first aid, CPR, and stabilization when needed Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers Perform intake health screenings and ongoing assessments for new and current residents Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Monitor and manage acute and chronic health conditions, including mental and behavioral health concerns Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, mental health professionals, and correctional staff Ensure compliance with infection control, safety procedures, and correctional facility regulations Educate residents on health topics, medication adherence, and wellness practices appropriate to age group Oversee and support LPNs and support staff in delivering safe and effective care Assist in managing incidents, injuries, and behavioral health crises within the facility Maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries while working with juvenile residents Requirements:
Licensed RN Deliver nursing care to patients Provide professional nursing care to patients Ensure the nurse to nurse reports Perform professional nursing care of patients Provide direct professional nursing care to patients Implement the nursing care plan and provide skilled nursing care Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients Provide professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit Provide general nursing care to patients Educate the nursing staff on patient care Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients Render professional nursing care to patients in need of medical care Provide professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit Coordinate nursing care for patients during hospitalization Ensure that appropriate nursing care Ensure that appropriate nursing care Formulate individualized nursing care plans Adapt patient care to individual patient needs Assist the nurse managers in decisions regarding nursing care
