Inside Sales Representative - Electrical Power

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support High Power Products’ Electrical Power Distribution and Switchgear business. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and supporting outside sales efforts while delivering exceptional service to contractors, engineers, OEMs, and industrial clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and experience in electrical products such as switch gear, panel boards, transformers, or related power distribution equipment.

• Support our Field Sales Independent Rep network with first class level customer service
• Maintain data in our CRM Program including quotation logs, follow ups, quotes and territory data.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
• Facilitate accurate and competitive quotations utilizing internal resources
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and one-line diagrams and be able communicate on them
• Coordinate with Manufacturers Reps for lead times including all details surrounding lead times via interdepartmental communication
• Support outside sales, independent reps and track projects for internal reporting in our CRM program
• Maintain strong customer and independent rep relationships
• Manage order entry and delivery coordination
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Stay current on products and industry trends
• Follow up with vendors to meet customer delivery requirements
• Prepare spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, word docs and any other required documents for assisting Management and the Field Sales Team.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 2+ years industry experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of switch gear, MCCs, panel boards, transformers
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
