General Laborer - 3rd Shift

Position Summary

The General Laborer will perform custodial duties throughout the college's facilities, including campus buildings and off‑campus centers. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment and using approved cleaning products to maintain classrooms, locker rooms, restrooms, elevators, office spaces, laboratories, lobbies, corridors, cafeteria areas, and utility spaces. The employee will clean walls, ceilings, floors, windows, vents, doorways, and furniture and perform dusting, washing, mopping, buffing, sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal.

Equipment maintenance, restocking supplies, assisting in event setup and teardown, reporting broken items, and ensuring a safe work environment are also required. The General Laborer may be assigned additional tasks by supervisory personnel as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
• Multitasking skills
• Must pass a physical examination
• Must pass a drug screening test
• Flexible schedule availability

• Hourly rate: $14.91
• Part‑time: 3 nights per week on 3rd‑shift schedules (Monday‑Wednesday 10:00 pm–6:30 am, Tuesday‑Thursday 10:00 pm–6:30 am, Wednesday‑Friday 10:00 pm–6:30 am)
• 100% tuition reimbursement for a C grade or higher
