Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse - Decatur, Georgia

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible contracts available: 36 or 48 hours per week

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with a patient population involving sepsis, cardiac and respiratory conditions, and other acute illnesses
• Ability to manage a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 16-20 bed unit

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and patient education in a fast-paced stepdown environment
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
• Manage critical changes in patient status, perform assessments, and document care accurately
• Assist with advanced procedures and support transitions of care
