Location

• Lead and manage the Logistics Engineering team in the designing and implementing of logistics strategies and models.
• Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions that meet organizational needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Sales, and Product teams to understand their shipping needs, and devise feasible solutions to meet these needs effectively.
• Oversee the integration and smooth execution of new logistics technology and systems.
• Prepare and manage the department's budget, ensuring maximum effectiveness of resources.
• Evaluate current logistics procedures and recommend improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Oversee and regularly assess the performance and productivity of logistics operations, providing prompt and effective solutions when necessary.
• Keep abreast of trends and innovations in logistics engineering and integrate these practices into the organization when beneficial.
• Manage third-party relationships including negotiating contracts, managing performance and resolving disputes.
• Guide and provide logistics training to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to all industry laws and regulations related to logistics.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
• Prepare and present departmental reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Develop policies and procedures that ensure the efficient operation of the Logistics Engineering department.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Logistics Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing logistics strategies that meet organizational needs.
• Solid understanding of logistics processes and systems, as well as industry laws and regulations related to logistics.
• Excellent knowledge of logistics software and technological tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding leadership abilities, with demonstrated excellence in managing and motivating teams.
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently, and adapt to changes in priorities quickly and effectively.
• Proven track record in managing budgets and resources effectively.
• High level of organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong ethics and discretion in handling sensitive and proprietary information.
