Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 based on experience
Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter with proven experience in high-quality interior carpentry and cabinet hanging/installation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential or commercial finish work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team to deliver precise, professional results.
Key Responsibilities- Install and hang kitchen, bathroom, and custom cabinetry, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening.
- Perform finish carpentry tasks including installation of trim, baseboards, crown molding, window/door casings, and stair components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials with precision.
- Install doors, hardware, shelving, and built-ins.
- Scribe and fit cabinets, panels, and trim for tight, seamless finishes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialty carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other trades when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar construction role.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required).
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred.
