Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter with proven experience in high-quality interior carpentry and cabinet hanging/installation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential or commercial finish work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team to deliver precise, professional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and hang kitchen, bathroom, and custom cabinetry, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening.
  • Perform finish carpentry tasks including installation of trim, baseboards, crown molding, window/door casings, and stair components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials with precision.
  • Install doors, hardware, shelving, and built-ins.
  • Scribe and fit cabinets, panels, and trim for tight, seamless finishes.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialty carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other trades when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar construction role.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required).
Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred.
