Kettle Moraine Heating & Air Conditioning has been a trusted name in HVAC, electrical, solar, and plumbing services across Waukesha County for years. We're growing — and we're looking for the right person to take the reins of our residential sales operation.
Our previous Sales Manager was promoted to General Manager. That tells you something about how we develop our people. Now we're looking for someone to step into the role and make it their own.
The OpportunityAs Residential Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of Comfort Advisors selling residential HVAC installations and replacements. You'll be based out of our Hartland office with regular field time for ride‑alongs and the occasional estimate — plus coordination with our Delafield location. This isn't a desk job. You'll be in the field coaching your team, working closely with marketing, operations, and service to drive results — and accountable to clear performance metrics.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Build and develop a high‑performing team of Comfort Advisors through recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing coaching
- Own departmental revenue, margin, and closing ratio targets (40% lead‑to‑close goal)
- Lead weekly sales meetings and ride‑alongs; establish a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage the sales department budget in partnership with the GM
- Drive IAQ/accessory attachment rates and on‑the‑spot bidding consistency
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, service, and operations leadership
- Track and report on daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
- Have led a residential or in‑home sales team, preferably in HVAC or home services
- Know how to coach salespeople to close — not just motivate them
- Are comfortable owning a P&L and making data‑driven decisions
- Can build structure and accountability without killing culture
- Have experience with Service Titan or a comparable field service platform (a plus, not a requirement)
- $115,000 – $140,000 base salary (experience‑dependent)
