Pressure Vessel Welder, 2nd Shift
Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing. We are hiring Pressure Vessel Welder Level I, II, III to work on 2nd shift (Monday ‑ Thursday 4:00 pm‑2:30 am) in Delaware, OH. The role is fully on‑site.
Starting pay is $27.23 /hr, adjusted based on experience. Training is on 1st shift for 2‑4 weeks. Pay is biweekly.
Responsibilities- Follow production orders and prepare parts and assemble weld components.
- Execute welds per company procedures and documents, meeting defined quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to duties.
- Identify and implement safety improvements.
- 1‑3 years of experience or equivalent trade‑school education.
- Capable of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe; not yet certified for welding under pressure.
- Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
- Strong aptitude for problem‑solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.
- 3+ years of MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
- Experience and certification in welding per ASME standard; certified for welding under pressure.
- Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor fitting and welding issues.
- Strong aptitude for problem‑solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.
- 5+ years of MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels (certified).
- Experience and certification in welding per ASME standard.
- Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings, and teach others.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fitting and welding issues.
- Strong aptitude for problem‑solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.
