Pressure Vessel Welder, 2nd Shift

Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing. We are hiring Pressure Vessel Welder Level I, II, III to work on 2nd shift (Monday ‑ Thursday 4:00 pm‑2:30 am) in Delaware, OH. The role is fully on‑site.

Starting pay is $27.23 /hr, adjusted based on experience. Training is on 1st shift for 2‑4 weeks. Pay is biweekly.

Responsibilities
  • Follow production orders and prepare parts and assemble weld components.
  • Execute welds per company procedures and documents, meeting defined quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
  • Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to duties.
  • Identify and implement safety improvements.
Qualifications Level I
  • 1‑3 years of experience or equivalent trade‑school education.
  • Capable of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe; not yet certified for welding under pressure.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
  • Strong aptitude for problem‑solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
Level II
  • 3+ years of MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
  • Experience and certification in welding per ASME standard; certified for welding under pressure.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor fitting and welding issues.
  • Strong aptitude for problem‑solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
Level III
  • 5+ years of MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels (certified).
  • Experience and certification in welding per ASME standard.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS and drawings, and teach others.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fitting and welding issues.
  • Strong aptitude for problem‑solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
